How long have you been a member at Reebok CrossFit 09?
How did you end up walking through our doors for the first time? Was there a pivotal event that led you to us?
09 was recommended to me by a friend as I was looking for a good challenging place to workout with no fuss.
Can you remember your ever CrossFit first workout? What was it like?
My first workout left me in complete shock. I have a history of sport and always thought I was pretty fit until I did Fran... It was only about my second or third day. The workout was quickly followed by assuming the fetal position and trying to keep my lunch down. After that I was hooked.

What has been one of the biggest things in your life that has changed since starting CrossFit?
General health has improved, other than being stronger/fitter I am more knowledgeable about nutrition etc.
Do you have any pre-WOD rituals? If so, what are they?
Quick trip to the toilet (pretty standard I think). I also have an obsession with needing chalk even if the WOD doesn't involve lifting etc... freeeeeaky
What is your athletic background?
6 years of competitive Muay Thai (kickboxing) and MMA
Is there a Reebok CrossFit 09 member who inspires you?
Pretty much all the guys I train with and the great coaches (walking the talk). Leon & Gerald probably drive me the most though as we have a quiet competitive thing going, always makes you push that little bit further.
What is your favourite CrossFit exercise?
Any workout that is a long chipper style with running in it. As far as specific exercises go I love hand stand push ups and anything overhead.
Greatest CrossFit accomplishment to date?
First strict muscle up
