How long have you been a member at Reebok CrossFit 09?

I started at the end of November 2013

How did you end up walking through our doors for the first time? Was there a pivotal event that led you to us?

I had been meaning to check out CrossFit for a while and/or joining a globo gym, but then RCF09 opened almost across the road and everything fell into place

Can you remember your first CrossFit experience? What was it like and how did you feel? Excited? Nervous?

Very nervous - it had been ages since I had done anything

What are your favourite training shoes?

I am a nano 3.0 convert

What are you doing when you aren't CrossFitting?

I have three mad children that I have to try and keep alive

What has been one of the biggest things in your life that has changed since starting CrossFit?

So many things! I love feeling healthy and fit again...

What is your favourite CrossFit exercise and describe your perfect WOD?

I love pretty much all of it (EVERYTHING IS AWESOME...) My perfect WOD is anything that doesn't involve running (ankle problems) or rowing (I have been doing so much rowing due to the aforementioned ankle problems!)

What is your athletic background?

I'll pretty much give anything a go. I have done a lot of weight training prior to having children, lots of netball and a few years of martial arts (kickboxing and Tae Kwon Do). The gymnastics I did as a kid has been more beneficial than I ever thought it would be!

Is there a Reebok CrossFit 09 member who inspires you?

Pretty much everyone I watch, especially the dawn demons! However, I must say that Carla's energy, enthusiasm and constant list of PBs each month is a huge inspiration.

Greatest CrossFit accomplishment to date?

I was pretty proud of my first rope climb, but every PB I hit just keeps me trying a bit harder.

What would you like to have achieved at Reebok CrossFit 09 a year from now?

I'd like to be hitting the Rx Performance all the time.

Interesting fact about yourself that most people may not know?

Oh man, the pressure - there are too many things that I don't want to admit...
