We're chatting to one of our dual gym members today, Purva, who started with CFNZ, then moved to RCF09.

What is your favourite treat?

Chocolate

How long have you been a member at Reebok CrossFit 09?

Since Aug 2014 and loving each moment of it.  Before that I trained at CFNZ for 6months.

How did you end up walking through our doors for the first time? Was there a pivotal event that led you to us?

A shift to Epsom bought me from CFNZ to RCF09

Can you remember your first CrossFit experience? What was it like and how did you feel? Excited? Nervous?

Both. I just could not move. But later felt very fresh and suddenly I did not feel tired which was totally unexpected.

Is there a piece of training equipment you can't live without?

Air bike (Editors note: Purva I think you are the ONLY person in the gym to love this piece of equipment!!)

What are you doing when you aren't CrossFitting?

Ha ha thinking of it. Basically I am a full time mum, parent helper at school, job hunting....

What has been one of the biggest things in your life that has changed since starting CrossFit?

I am very surprised that I can now run at least 400m without stopping and overall fitness has just been superb, which I always wanted, but was hard to achieve, but not anymore.

Are you a barbell or kettle bell lover? Favourite movement?

Barbell lover. My hang power clean,which I used to hate.

What is your athletic background? An intermediate walker...... :)

Is there a gym member who inspires you?

Our 09:30 am class. And mostly its you Krista..

Greatest exercise related accomplishment to date?

Pull ups even if it is band assisted. I am so happy.

Interesting fact about yourself that most people may not know?

My strength is in my writing.. And I have done the Sky jump...........
