How long have you been a member at Reebok CrossFit 09?

Same as Megan and Nikki, we all started at the same time!

How did you end up walking through our doors for the first time? Was there a pivotal event that led you to us?

One of my friends came along for a trial and told me all about it, it also happened to coincide with the conclusion of 3 and a half years of breast feeding! Cam from RockTape had also had a lot to say about it so I thought I needed to see what all of the fuss was about.

Can you remember your first CrossFit experience? What was it like and how did you feel? Excited? Nervous?

No I can't really remember, although I can barely remember what I did this morning. I wasn't really nervous about coming along, I had heard so much about it, I had a conversation with Darren on the phone, he wasn't selling it, it was a very informative conversion about movement so I decided I needed to come and see what he was talking about!

Is there a piece of training equipment you can't live without?

I like the rings! I used to like the kettle bell.. but now its the rings.

What are you doing when you aren't CrossFitting?

I have full time job and 3 kids to manage! This involves a lot of fun! They also come to CrossFit kids and love it.

What has been one of the biggest things in your life that has changed since starting CrossFit?

Time management! Making time to do something and being accountable.

Are you a barbell or kettle bell lover? 

Probably say barbell even though I feel I can't really do much with it.

And what is you all time FAVOURITE movement?

Push press!

If you were told you had to do only one movement for 7mins straight.. for max reps.. what would you NOT like to see?

Maybe box jumps..

What is your athletic background?

Nil!

Is there a Reebok CrossFit 09 member who inspires you?

It takes quite a special person to get up at 5.30am and be ready to exercise at 6am! So anyone that makes it the morning class!

Greatest exercise related accomplishment to date?

6kg chest to bar weighted pull up and my determination to learn the snatch and the clean.

Interesting fact about yourself that most people may not know?

I'm pretty black and white and I can't live without the sun!
